NHS Dentistry

Prices correct as of April 2024

Band 1 Includes basic examination; very minor fixes and x-rays (where clinically necessary). Diagnosis and necessary treatment provided in 1 appointment – £26.80

Band 2 Band 1 plus treatment such as periodontal treatment/ fillings/ extractions/ root canal treatments all where clinically necessary. Diagnosis and necessary prescription and treatment generally provided over 1-2 appointments – £73.50

Band 3 Band 2 plus treatment such as crowns/ dentures/ veneers and bridges all where clinically necessary. Diagnosis and necessary prescription and treatment generally provided over 2-3 appointments – £319.10

Urgent Visit Advice, diagnosis and temporary emergency treatment where clinically necessary. Diagnosis and immediate advice and/or prescription provided at each appointment – £26.80 per visit

Denplan Monthly Payment Plan

Denplan Care includes: check-ups, scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatment, preventative dental advice and therapy, dental x-rays, necessary fillings, necessary extractions, periodontal (gum) treatment, crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (excluding laboratory fees), rroot canal treatment (If offered by dentist) – £19.40 per month
Does not include: laboratory fees and prescriptions, any treatment excluded by the dentist in your contract (which is then payable by you to the dentist), referral to a specialist and specialist treatment, orthodontic, implants, cosmetic treatments, sedation fees

Denplan Essential includes: check-ups. scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatments, preventative dental advice – From £15.62 per month
Does not include: restorative dental treatments (including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures), Laboratory fees and prescriptions, referral to a specialist and specialist treatments, orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment, sedation fees
